“This house was exactly the type of private, tropical experience we wanted for our first stay in Aruba. Plenty of space both in the house and in the lush private little retreat in the backyard. The outdoor light features at night let you enjoy the space any time you and your house mates would like! The beds are very cozy, with very comfortable mattresses and soft, pleasant sheets! Very generous pillows. Individual room AC control. The location is quite walkable, as the bustling waterfront area is about a 30 minute walk away. The fresh water from the tap is desalinated with reverse osmosis on the island, and you can quickly taste the difference, which is a great treat to not have to worry about the drinking water on holiday! The whole group drank the tap water and had ice all week with zero issues!”

“Let’s just start by saying I did not have enough days to explore the house. I was there for 5 days and still feel like I wasn’t there long enough. House had everything we needed. From Appliances, toiletries, beach chairs/ towels, towels….etc. I would definitely recommend this to property to other travelers. The host was very responsive and answered questions in a timely manner. The location of this home was also good. For all excursions we took a taxi to Divi Dutch resort which was like 5-6 minutes away from the house. Total ride was about $13 dollars for one way. Also we was in walking distance from a supermarket. Which was about a 4 minute walk. Overall experience 9/10💙”

“We had a wonderful stay at the house! It was clean and ready on arrival and had all ammenities listed. There was a great coffee shop around the corner that had wonderful breakfast as well. “it was a great house with a terrific garden and pool. we had a terrific time with our family. I would definitely recommend this house. there were a lot of tiny mosquitos as it was raining quite a lot for Aruba. we don't like air-conditioning and kept the house open for ventilation, which made us miss some extra fans I'm the room and mosquito nets.”

“It was a girl\'s getaway for myself and 4 other women for our sorority anniversary. Aloestraat 14 is well situated and is very close to downtown, the beaches, restaurants and other amenities. The house is just as it looks, it was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. There were a few hangups with the A/C and the hot tub, but they were promptly fixed by Casiola Staff. I stayed in the MBR which was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and would use Casiola homes again. ”

“What a wonderful week we had! This was our first AirBNB experience and it has certainly set the bar very high! We traveled as a family of 4, accompanied by my mother-in-law and father-in-law. Everyone had their own beautiful room with an entire apartment to spare! The villa was gorgeous - with beautiful spaces to relax both inside and out; it was even larger than it seemed in the pictures! Julia and Stuart went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome in Aruba. We hope to come back soon and would book this home again in a second! Thank you so much! Tip: We didn't rent a car this time, but would recommend it for any group larger than 5, as the cab companies rarely agree to put more than 5 passengers in a vehicle even if it has room. So to avoid paying for 2 cabs everywhere you go, a rental might be best! It was $10 to the low rise hotels/beaches and $15 to the high rise area - so it adds up! Julia offered a rental at a great rate, we declined for logistical concerns but would definitely recommend taking her up on it! If this villa is available for your stay, book it without hesitation! It's truly amazing, stocked with everything you need for a wonderful family vacation!”

“We had a wonderful time at the Villa. I have to say that even though the nice pictures of the villa caught my attention, the pictures do no justice to the actual charm of the house. The villa was beautiful and became even more charming by night when the pool and back was all lit up. We had a wonderful time using the pool, hot tub, and outdoor dining areas. After a long day out at the beach, it was an absolute pleasure coming back to relax at the home and enjoy the hammock in the back. We also enjoyed cooking at the home as the kitchen was very well stocked and had a great layout. I am looking forward to booking again in the future.”

“From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the host. A letter explaining everything along with a detailed book answering almost any question we could think of. Starting with dropping of the GPS unit where we rented a car--amazing thought! I don't know how we would have gotten around the island otherwise. I HIGHLY suggest renting a car/van and using the provided GPS. Took the thought out of everything, we just picked which beach/place we wanted to go to, plugged it into the GPS and took off. We had a few things go wrong during our stay--but Stuart + Julia were on it! We even called them at 10:30 with a refrigerator emergency and they brought us a spare so our food wouldn't go bad! Everything we needed/wanted, they provided or offered suggestions. We couldn't have dealt with a nicer, more professional staff with these wonderful people. The house is JUST AS AMAZING as it looks in the photos. My only suggestion, is to bring mosquito repellent if you're coming during the rainy season. That is literally the only suggestion. The rooms were beautiful, and my 13 year old nephew even wanted to take a shower because the bathroom was so beautiful! 🙂 The kitchen is amazing and has everything you could ever want to cook meals for your family. We only ate out one time! I can't say enough positive things about this home, and the people who rent it. If we ever come back to Aruba, we will definitely either rent the same home--or rent a different home from the same people. Thank you all again for your hospitality. We are so grateful! ”

“First let me start of by saying the house is beautiful. The design and the space and atmosphere was stunning. I would give this house a 3 out 5 rating. I say this because although the house was nice certain things in the house didn't work and the lack of availability of the owners took away from the experience and the comfort of our stay. To be fair I did book the villa 8 days before our arrival. On cleanliness I would gave the house 3 out 5. Half of the house is on the outside so I was expecting a bug issue but there was dead bugs in the bathroom counter tops and even the kitchen counter tops. It wasn't to bad because they do have cleaning supplies so I was able to clean before all my guest arrived. Outside sitting area sitting cushions and pillows could've used a wash as well. The yard was beautiful but there was leaves everywhere and the outside furniture wasn't clean either. The refrigerator wasn't working properly and Maintenance came when we went to the beach. The fridge did get cooler but stop working again after a few hours and the ice maker didn't make any ice. The hot tub wasn't working the first night a different maintenance guy came by and said he would come back tomorrow and he never did. When we called to find out what was going on we were told a few hours later the pump for the hot tub wasn't working so the hot tub was unavailable which kind of put a damper on the adults event for that night. But we did get a tax refund for the hot tub. The lights in the yard and outside the home is on a timer and I guess the timer was set wrong cause the lights came on during the day but not at night. Which really Made it difficult to host the evening festivities for my sons birthday but a mother has to do what a mother has to do and keep the party going. My family and I read the manual on how things worked in the house but It would've been nice to actually get a tour on how things worked. It was my son birthday so I made the best of it for the children and my guest that came to celebrate with us but I have to say it would've been very helpful if the house host or owners were a bit more available on helping with some of the issues. The cleaning I was able to do on my own but the other stuff we couldn't fix ourselves. Would I stay here again YES I would! but I would make sure to book at least 3 weeks in advance so the owners available time to prepare for our stay and make sure the owners were available during my stay at their house. ”

“Second stay and still love it!! - Villa Aloe was perfect for our group of 9 who like to explore the island then come home to relax in the pool/hot tub and make dinner. The location is perfect if you plan to move around from beach to beach during your stay. It is minutes from Eagle, Palm and Arashi Beach. You can be downtown in about 5 minutes and the airport is maybe 10 minutes. There is a grocery store just down the street and the Super Food Center is about 10 minutes. Baby beach is about 25-30 minutes. The open air kitchen and living room are awesome and the bedrooms are all air conditioned. The pool and hot tub are perfect and there is a new outdoor kitchen that is great for grilling and hanging outside. This place is not the modern luxurious house that some people expect when they go on vacation. But if you are looking for a cool, eclectic place that is centrally located and has a great outdoor space, this is it. We love it and will definitely be back.”

“The main selling point for us was the back yard and it was just as pictured. Even though the house had close neighbors, you felt like you were secluded. Privacy walls/fencing all around made it to where no one could see in. Great layout and hot tub worked great. We turned the heat on before we left for dinner and it would be perfect when we got back. Mosquitoes were bad especially if it rained but we let Stuart and Julia know and they came and fogged it for us. Also left us some Bop spray for inside the house. Layout of the house is great. Even though there’s only air conditioning in the bedrooms it didn’t feel hot in the other areas of the house since the breeze would blow thru when the doors were open. Kitchen fully stocked with a lot of extras and lots of board games and toys for younger kids. There were rafts for the pool and coolers, beach chairs, and beach towels for when you drove to the beach. We didn’t use the workout room that much mostly because of the musty smell, but the room was air conditioned and had nice equipment. We had six people in our group and only used the four bedrooms in the house. We did use the third bathroom in the apartment next door, which is small but worked great for the kids. The house was clean and was just as pictured. Plenty of room for up to 10 people. Hosts were very responsive to requests. Would highly recommend.”

“Stayed for a month, wish we could have stayed longer! - Our family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers stayed at Villa Aloe for one month for a “workation”. We would have stayed longer if we could! The best parts about this property are Stuart and Julia. They were so responsive to all of our needs. Six of us used the internet during the day for work and school and had some trouble with the wifi; Stuart and Julia helped us get better internet. One of the shower heads broke but they had their handyman, Ramon, come fix it immediately. The mosquitoes were pretty bad but Ramon fogged the yard as often as we wanted. They also helped us find Covid testing centers since we needed a negative test in order to board the plane back to the U.S. We loved the layout of the house. The back of the house opened up to the back yard. Each teenager had their own room to do school if they wanted although they often chose to do it on the back porch at the large table. My husband used the outdoor kitchen table as his office but if he got too hot or needed more privacy, he used the kitchenette in the attached apartment. Occasionally, they would use the swim-up bar as their desk; they couldn’t always get wifi at the pool. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The master shower felt like you were outdoors. Mattresses and pillows were comfortable. The large living room was great for hanging out at the end of a long day; it’s not air-conditioned but if we opened the doors to two of the bedrooms, it cooled off enough. Even the lighting in the home is cozy. We did not use the workout room; it smelled a little musty. We absolutely LOVED the swimming pool and hot tub. When the kids had a long enough break between classes, they would jump in the pool. The hot tub takes a little while to heat up but if you turned it on before you went out for dinner, it would be hot when you got home. The outdoor light and swimming pool and hot tub lights added to the ambiance. ”

We bought yearly passes to the Arikok National Park and went back several times to explore. We did the mural tour in San Nicolas which included some history of the island. We took windsurfing lessons through Aruba Active Vacations. We rented UTVs through Offroad Evolution so we were able to explore the north coast on our own, not with a tour. We did a cooking lesson at Goshen Farm that also included some history of the island. Our family would highly recommend staying in Villa Aloe in Aruba.”

“Wonderful owners. Great place to stay, would go back agian. - We had 3 couples stay very comfortably in this home. The owners were so nice and attentive. There were some jacuzzi issues while we were there but they worked hard to get them fixed and succeeded. It has been awhile since we stayed there and the only thing I remember that one couple complained about was the small bathroom in the back/side apartment. We loved the big glass sliding doors and area to sit outside to eat our at home meals. The pool and tv outside were a bonus. Great place to stay. I would highly reccommend.”

“The house is actually better than I expected, pictures truly don’t it justice. The space was amazing, cold a/c, water heats quickly, fully functional kitchen with ALL of the amenities! Nice open air area with that nice Aruban breeze. Outdoor space is beyond!!! Clean, relaxing, beautiful pool, hot tub, cabana, bbq. Evenings, you can turn on these charming cabana lights that add to the island feel. It’s in a convenient location and felt safe, near grocery, gas, really neat Aloe museum. We had a car rental and driving felt very easy. I would recommend downloading the app they provide, it made information easily accessible, lots of tips, suggestions. They blew me away with how accommodating they were! Would 100% recommend booking with Stuart and Julia, we’ve already told family and friends 🙂 We will absolutely be back and will book with them again!!! “Beware that electricity and water is not included in the price with this Airbnb. The house is very nice and the Mexican theme is cute. It has a lot of space but also note there is no air conditioning in the common areas. The location is good and the communication from the hosts was fast however, alot of the amenities were broken or not working, such as the Jacuzzi, there was no gas so the stove didn’t work and because there was no gas that also resulted in there being no hot water and that was truly frustrating although the hosts then did not charging us for electricity and water since we had these issues so That was kind of them and I truly appreciate it. I also want to mention That neither of the bathrooms had any shampoo or conditioner in the containers and one of the bathroom toilets was clogged upon arrival.”

“Family Wedding Stay - We had 8 people staying here for the wedding of our son. The outside area was a great place to gather and there were several areas to gather in the main area. The beds were comfortable. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms, but not the main area. We ran a fan that was provided and kept the main doors open to get a breeze. This worked pretty well but it did get hot in the middle of the day. The kitchen area was also a nice gathering area. The bathrooms had some issues. The handles were difficult to adjust for water temperature and there are areas in the bathroom that could be cleaned better, mainly the shower area. We felt the rest of the areas were maintained and clean. The TV in the separate living area bedroom didn't work and we had trouble getting the TV remotes to work in the main area, but we weren't there to watch TV so it didn't bother us. The washer worked well, but the dryer didn't so we hung our clothng on an outside rail and they dried quickly with the breeze. The house is in a good location for activities. We enjoyed snorkeling and a jeep tour while we were there. ”

“What a great place - We had very high expectations going into this vacation, this place exceeded our highest expectations. Clean, open concept- very Caribbean like. Property manager was super helpful without being intrusive. Couple of little things we asked for, they responded immediately. Location is the bomb. Quiet , nice neighborhood. Little grocery store at the top of the street, big supermarket with everything you need 10 minutes away. Beaches, Eagle, Palm beach 10-15 minutes away. I would say you need a car with this location though we did taxi around at night . We had four adult kids and the two of us-plenty of space. The pool and backyard was like your own little resort in this island paradise I would give this place and this vacation ten stars ”

“Freya was exceptionally helpful and a sweetheart. I’m The home is beautiful. Very picturesque scenery. While very beautiful, the home is a little dated. The shower handles were broken during our stay in the common bathroom. Also, there were no hot or cold labels in the shower and the water is scalding hot! So watch out! We didn’t mind the iguanas in the backyard, but there were DOZENS of mosquitoes. There was a can of repellent and some candles available and more were provided upon request. Whatever minor issues or concerns that we did have, the hosts were very prompt with ensuring that things were handled. We were a group of 7 people, for a week’s stay, and stayed within the usage limits for water. We did go over for electricity, primarily for AC usage I assume. We ended up having to pay $172, which was less than we anticipated. Overall, we each can say that we’d definitely stay at Villa Aloe again!”

“Just awesome! As a group of 9 friends, this home had everything we needed to have a great time. The A/C in all bedrooms works amazing, and having a hugely open concept into the outdoor patios allows for a sweeeeeet Arubian breeze keep the rest of the main house comfortable. The pool, hot tub, and swim-up bar has a TV for entertainment if you cant miss your favorite sports team play. The kitchen is perfectly equipped for cooking every meal, blending drinks, making coffee and hosting a nice full family breakfast/lunch/dinner. The laundry works perfectly if your looking to keep your packing light. Theres plenty of pool/beach toys, and a perfect little cooler for day trips to the beach(came in handy every day). The apartment attached to the house is perfect for a couple people, its equipped with a little kitchenette and private bathroom. The pool stays at a very comfortable temperature all day and night. The hot tub heats up rather quickly, after only 20-25 minutes it was a very noticeable difference in temperature. Location is perfect, only a few minutes away to great beaches, the harbor area and shopping. I can offer a few tips about traveling to Aruba.....Buy your liquor in the airport in the duty free store at baggage claim. Its a 30-40% difference in price. Go to Super Foods for your groceries, they have the largest selection as well as the cleanest store in my opinion. Theres also a small grocery store, Hua Run Grocery, right up the block from the house for last minute items. Buy your ice at the Ponton Service Station on the cornet of the street, its less expensive and right up the street from the house. Remember, ice melts fast! I truly can not say enough good things about the house and the amenities. I hope this review helps, it really is a great place!”

“We loved our week at Villa Aloe! Stuart was great, and very responsive when we needed something. The outdoor space is what drew us to this place, and it did not disappoint. It is very private and was a perfect honeymoon spot. So much better than the cookie cutter condos or hotels. I would highly recommend this place if you want to have flexibility over food choices (being able to cook was great) and want something different and very cool. There are nice touches, like beach towels, a cooler, and beach chairs which save money when you are heading to the beach. There are also tons of games, reliable WiFi, AppleTV, laundry, etc. All the comforts of home in paradise!”

“This house is beautiful and is very private! The kitchen is well stocked and is great for grilling and cooking meals. The main area of the house is not air conditioned but you'll find you don't need it since there is a steady breeze that rolls through the house once you open all the windows and doors. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of plants and palm trees. Be aware that you are traveling to a different country so standards are different. The studio has a very small bathroom with the sink inside the shower. But it's a nice private space with its own kitchenette and looks very recently renovated. “AM-A-ZING place!! Stayed here with my wife, two kids, aunt and parents-in-law. Also, another relative who lives in Araba stayed often during the day. The place is awesome, big, wel kept and with plenty of amenities: dvd player, TV in every room, also at the pool, bluetooth speaker, big freezer etc) Also, it's perfect for kids (theres a fence around the big terrace, so no need to constantly check if toddlers are by the pool). And the service is just beyond. There's a concierge ready to help you out any minute. Fast communication by Whatsapp... I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker but couldnt find one, guess what? “A beautiful home and great experience for our first time in Aruba. This home has everything you need and is a skip, hop, and jump from everything to do on the island. We will definitely be back. Stuart and Ardeline are super hosts and we really appreciated them during our stay. They are prompt and precise. “A little slice of heaven - Villa Aloe was amazing! It had everything we needed, and the amenities were wonderful. We spent a lot of time there during our vacation because the backyard was so beautiful. HOWEVER, every single bed (especially the master) was VERY uncomfortable. The MBR bed felt like you were sleeping on a boxspring with no mattress on top. The 6 of us kept switching beds to see if we could find a more comfortable one. For this reason, I would not go back to this villa unless they upgrade the mattresses. ”

“Family Getaway - We were a fun group of 10 staying at the property. Our main reasons for choosing this house was the size, pool/hot tub, and the outdoor living space. The house itself is beautiful and is very clean. Overall, absolutely everything we needed was there. A few issues with the kitchen- we were told the stove was not working due to a missing part. The refrigerator was only slightly cool, not cool enough to keep food or drinks cold. The bathroom faucet was also broken. I immediately sent an email and to my surprise everything was fixed in a timely manner. I was very impressed with the communication and service provided. We kept the house open all of the time and only used the AC in the bedrooms at night because we were nervous we would overuse the electricity and have to pay at the end. The owners decided to not read the meter at the end of our stay due to the issues in the beginning. This was very kind of them! Only other problem would be the gym equipment was not fully functioning. But that’s ok, we made it work. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the space was more than enough to house our group of 10. This house is a great bang for your buck and you should feel at ease knowing the company and homeowners are extremely easy to work with. Great time in Aruba! Thank you!! ”

“Wow, this place is amazing. It is everything you would look for in a Caribbean villa. Luxurious, comfortable, big, stylish. The pool outside with the bar in the pool is just a little paradise. The beds are really nice and comfy, as are the bathrooms. The location is excellent, and you can easily explore the entire island from there. “House experience much better than we even imagined - It has taken me awhile to write about this rental experience because I keep hoping that I’m going to wake up and find I’m still in that beautiful house surrounded by my wonderful family. Well — I’m home in Colorado but will share some of my experience in Aruba. The house was as advertised and even more actually. Other than being beautiful in a beautiful setting, it had all that we needed to make our vacation wonderful. I traveled to Aruba w/ my husband and 6 other members of my family which included 2 grandchildren 2 & 5. Plenty of room for all to sleep, eat, play, get away from each other (LOL!). I looked forward to every morning waking up to open up the huge sliding door so enjoy all that wonderful Aruba air. The house came well-supplied w/ all the necessities. If we needed food, etc., then grocery story was abt 15 minutes away. Anything you could want practically was in that store-amazing. Even Ng’s up the road and close by had many items if you needed something quickly. Back to the house — house rental management team was terrific; all appliances worked; everything was clean and ready for us. The pool and hot tub were so very enjoyable. Open air eating in either of two areas was so fun. (Had to clean off the iguana poop, but that was no big deal.) Speaking of iguanas - seems to be 2 maybe 3 who come out in the morning & late afternoon just to greet you and get an occasional grape.)Totally harmless and fascinating. Location: north of the Oranjestad by abt 20 minutes. Close to many beaches (abt 10 min. Drive — yes, you do need a car.) Just a little further north and west (on the beach) is yet another area to eat, shop & do all those fun water activities. Again, abt 10-15 min. Away. The breeze blows most of the time — and it’s great. If it stops or slows down a lot, then the mosquitoes tend to find you at the house. “Beautiful Place to Relax - Villa Aloe was absolutely beautiful, a little piece of heaven away from the high rise crowd. Upon entry, the house blew us away. It is so beautiful and spacious, especially with the moveable glass walls that fully retract within both the living room and kitchen walls. This feature opens up to the back yard and patio areas which provides an open space and open air concept. The pictures online are exactly what they depict. The back yard pool area was our absolute favorite. This is where we spent most of our time while relaxing at the house. There’s plenty of room to relax out there without feeling crowded. There’s also plenty of shade as well when a break from the sun is in need. Julia, our host, is absolutely wonderful and such a sweetheart. “Villa Aloe Aruba - April 2017 - All 10 of us, 8 of whom was their first villa experience usually going the resort route, thoroughly enjoyed the villa. So much so two of our group are already planning a trip next year. General Condition The yard is an oasis and you have no idea you are in a subdivision. You are surrounded by palm trees, tropical plants, grass and even aloe to help sooth your sunburn. The pool is a great way to refresh and if you're lucky the iguanas will come join you for some afternoon sunbathing. The gym is small but adequate. I brought resistance bands and enjoyed training outside in the courtyard. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms stayed cool with AC in each. The fridge is quite large but beware that the freezer may freeze shut if not closed properly. There were only two knocks that were not a big deal depending on your tolerance. The toilet in the master ensuite tends to continually run water. If you don't like living with critters you may experience friendly geckos hanging out in the villa but they are harmless. Also, there were some small ants in the kitchen but they were not a problem. Location The location of the villa is quite convenient your central to everything but rent a vehicle as the beach, restaurants, night life, etc. are not in walking distance. When you leave the villa in search of provisions, turn left instead of right. At the corner you will find a gas station, turn left again and there is a great supermarket, with booze and food, a short drive on the right. I would recommend the Super Food to get your initial provisions. Property Management From the helpful app, the communication emails ahead of our trip and prompt answers to questions, Ardeline kept us well informed. Stuart welcomed us, he is a great guy who knows the area well. He even ordered us pizza on the first night. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our vacation and we thank them for that.”

“Wow! What a gorgeous villa! ? - We sure loved this villa! The pictures don't even do it justice! It was so very beautiful! The house was very clean and better than expected. The backyard was very well maintained! Gorgeous! We so loved the iguanas! The kids favourite feature was the pool! They were in it every day multiple times. I have told all my friends this place. I would highly recommend it and would go back every time I went to Aruba. We rented cars and used the provided gps. We only used it for the first few days as the island is easy to figure out and we knew were to go easily, the kids think our city back home should turn all there street lights to traffic circles. You definitely figure those out in Aruba! We were there for two weeks and toured from one end of the island to the other and all around inbetween! The owners were kind and happy to help. We loved aloe villa and hope to be back soon! ”

“Nice - Overall, the house looks exactly like the pictures. Beautiful! A taxi is needed to get around. The taxi's are per ride not per person. To get to the downtown are the taxi was about $10. There is a supermarket right around the corner. My only complaint was that there was no hot water in the house. When I called the owner we received no answer. I tried calling for 3 days. The only time I seen him was the first day. There were a lot of bugs on the island so bring insect repellent. ”

“Wonderful - There was a group of us who stayed at this Villa for a birthday/summer celebration. This was our first time in Aruba and our first time choosing to stay at a Villa versus a hotel while on vacation and it was the best choice we could have made. We had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay. The house is truly beautiful and looks just like the pictures. The only issue we experience with the property was when we went to use the jacuzzi the first night it did not heat up after following the directions in the handbook the owners provided, so the next morning we called and someone came out later that day. By the following night when we returned from dinner the owner or whoever they sent had the backyard lit up and the jacuzzi running and it was nice and hot. Also, during our stay we rented a vechicle and seemed to never be far from where we were going. Overall, this is a wonderful place and we truly enjoyed our stay.”

“This place is gorgeous. We had a group of 10 and we fit comfortably. Talk about having the feeling of your own private resort at the place your staying. This is exactly it. All the property owners/operators were very nice upon arrival and rectifying any situation we had. Rooms were clean and property is well maintained. What you see on the pictures is what you get. We were able to grill out a few different nights allowing us to save money on eating out every night. Cab service in Aruba is very prompt and it is ran by the government so you don't have to worry about getting hosed on pricing. I would highly recommend trying out Gianni's, food is unreal. Only thing I would say that could be better about Aruba is the amount of bugs that are on the island. Just make sure to bring lots of bug spray and to close all of your personal room doors to keep the rooms cool and bug free. Thank you for an awesome experience!!!”

“The Most Beautiful Villa for a Romantic Getaway!! - I planned a surprise for my fiance with a quick getaway to Aruba and decided to try out this villa I found on . I am from the US, and the communication with the Renstar Aruba staff from the start was amazing. They answered all of my questions, and even accommodated to some personal family situations I had. From the moment we arrived and stepped into the villa, my fiance (and myself) were blown away, running around everywhere to see everything this beautiful villa has to offer! It was so tastefully decorated and we were even greeted with a welcome package (including a delicious bottle of wine!). Danny arrived shortly afterwards and gave us a tour of the entire house, which was very helpful! We spent time in every part of the house in our short stay, and loved every minute of it. It was hard to escape the house and visit Aruba (our first time there) because we loved this house so much! “The best place to stay in Aruba - The place is even better than we thought! When we arrived, Stuart came to welcome us. He told us we could call him anytime if we needed anything. He answered all our questions regarding the house, but also what to do in Aruba, what was the best way to move around, etc. The house is amazing. It is even better that what the pictures show. All the sleeping rooms have air conditioning. The door from the living room to the terrace can be opened completely, making it a single, huge space. The table outside fits perfectly 9 people. The kitchen is super well equipped, with kettle, toaster, dishwasher and anything else you can imagine. And not to speak about the gas bbq there is in the garden. We had amazing barbecues. There is even an excellent sound system to which you can connect your phone via bluetooth. Now, the swimming pool... is also amazing! There are three seats as in a bar, and a bar at the other side! The chill out zone in the terrace is also perfect! The only thing that was not working when we arrived was the heat pump for the jacuzzi, and they came to fix it. The day after it was not working again, but we did not call to tell them. I am sure they would have come to fix it again. We even got a complimentary cleaning of the house half way through our stay (we stayed 8 nights), which was very useful! The villa is located in a residential neighbourhood, where there is not much to do, but there is a big supermarket within walking distance (2 minutes walking). In order to discover the island you definitely need a car, but I think this is the case in Aruba no matter where you stay. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone going to visit Aruba!”

“Cette maison est absolument extraordinaire. Nous n'avions pas le goût d'en sortir! C'est une place idéale pour relaxer chez-soi. Tout est beau. La végétation abondante vous donne toute l'intimité souhaitée. Stuart a été accueillant et de service lorsque nous avons eu besoin de son aide pour le BBQ. Le seul inconvénient est que le chauffe-eau pour le jaccuzzi ne fonctionnait pas... ce que j'aurais apprécié. Aussi, il y a un imposant manuel pour l'invité mais celui-ci n'est pas à jour concernant certains équipements disponibles (Netflix plutôt qu'AppleTV, laptop, cellulaire, auto à louer. Sinon, tout l'espace promis est là! Et c'est un plaisir de cuisiner dans cette cuisine super bien équipée et bien ventilée, c'est comme cuisiner dehors! Il est agréable aussi de s'entraîner dans le mini-gym climatisé. La maison est située dans un quartier résidentiel sans grand intérêt, mais à mon humble avis, il n'y a pas tellement de quartier d'intérêt à Aruba. L'intérêt est le climat absolument parfait, jour comme nuit et ses magnifiques plages (à Arashi) entre autres. Je reviendrais avec plaisir dans cette superbe maison où il fait bon vivre.”

“Villa Aloe 'One Happy Villa' - Villa Aloe was lovely. The villa was plenty big enough for our family of 8. The large round table and oblong table were great to eat at, to laugh, and share our stories. Stuart was great! He was very helpful and responded very quickly. Our first morning the coffee maker wasn't working so we called Stuart he was at the villa in minutes with another coffee maker and coffee! The location of the Villa to the beaches require you to rent a car or take a taxi. Taxi's are pricey. A few things if updated would make this Villa perfect: o updated mattresses o hot tub wasn't working o refrigerator / freezer (door didn't close well, freezer wasn't working properly) Like I said the Villa was lovely with the updates it would be perfect!”

“Sunny Family Time - To start, the property looks just like the pictures. It is a beautiful house in very nice shape. We had up to 10 people in the house at a time and it never felt crowded because the house flows nicely and there is so much outdoor space. We cooked large meals and found the kitchen well organized and stocked. We swam in the pool almost every day. Perhaps the "private gym" is oversold because it is very small and the treadmill is for walking not running. While the house is in a nice and convenient neighborhood (10-15 min drive to town center, Eagle Beach, Palm Beach, the main grocery stores) I was disappointed in two points that had more to do with staying in a neighborhood in Aruba than in this particular neighborhood. There is the noise level around New Year's Eve and the stray dogs (which scared me from running in the neighborhood). Finally, the management company was wonderful. They were responsive on all questions before and during our stay. They even offered to set up a Christmas tree for us - and it was lovely. A wonderful time was had by all.”

“Excellent Vacation! - We want to Aruba for the first time last week. We had a wedding to attend and chose to stay in a private home vs an inclusive hotel. Immersing in the local culture is then best way to really get to know what a place is like. However, when bring your children to a foreign place, it is so important to feel safe and comfortable and we certainly did. Aruba is beautiful, very hot, but air-conditioned in most places. The home we stayed in, the Villa Aloe Aruba was fantastic and a vacation in itself. The property, just minutes from the beaches, shops and hotels was far more than we expected it to be. It is just incredible that this place was ours for a week. It is a very private luxury home in every way with excellent accommodations for our entire family plus a guest suite....tropical landscaping, pool, hottub, stone shower, all appliances and it was spotless to boot. The company, Rentstar Aruba, went above and beyond to do anything they could to help us and make our stay the wonderful experience that it was. They are a phone call away and will go above and beyond to research anything we wanted to do or find. As a business owner, I fully understand and appreciate the value of excellent customer service. Stuart, Lisa and Sabine, if you ever come to the US, please let me return the favor in anyway we can and do for you what you did for us, treat us like family. Thank you for everything, you and Rentstar deserve a six out of five stars!! A+++ rating. I recommend them highly and because of you, Aruba was a memory we will always cherish.”

“Perfect Accommodations - We had a party of six women, each of which had never been to Aruba before. “Perfect Getaway! - My family and I couldn't have been happier with our stay at Villa Aloe. The home was just as it was described and had everything we needed. We go to Aruba each year and stay at a hotel but this year we wanted to try staying at a local home. It was an excellent experience; we were a short drive to town and beaches. We were right down the street from a market - walking distance! Stuart from Rentstar was so helpful when he stopped by to drop off more beach towels. Rentstart had a binder with info about the home, neighborhood, island - it had so much useful info! We can't wait to return next year!”

“Fabulous Home - This villa was absolutely spectacular. The yard and pool area is one I have always dreamed of having. Their were lots of misquotes and no AC in the living area did get pretty hot but have the living area and kitchen open to the outside was a great experience. The beds were hard but we spent most of our time experience and enjoying Aruba. I will definitely come back and will be staying at this lovely Villa. The staff was such a blessing and the people of Aruba are so kind. This vacay was one of the best my family and I have ever taken. ”

“Wonderful experience in Aruba! - My family and friends visited Aruba and stayed at Villa Aloe and had a wonderful vacation. The home is beautiful and so peaceful. It is centrally located so everything you need is a short drive away. You can be on Eagle beach in five minutes or snorkle in Mamok in ten minutes. We loved sitting by the pool in the afternoons sipping on cocktails in the hottub while the kids played in the pool. I would highly recommend this property to anyone considering visiting Aruba. The home was spacious enough for our party of eight and we all had our privacy and never felt crowded. ”

“A brief stay in paradise - The Villas private back yard was amazing. Whether lounging on the chaise by the pool or reading under the shade of the tiki hut, I felt I had a slice of paradise just for me and my family. I loved the open air family room and dining areas in the Villa. My daughter used the gym which was very convenient. Would have LOVED to stay longer. ”

“Home away from Home! - Very enjoyable stay at Villa Aloe Aruba, very accommodating , my son broke his arm just a few days before our arrival, requested a Lazy Boy chair and Owner was kind enough to get us one for my son to sleep in. very clean, child safe and homey feeling, Kitchen is well equipped, lot of cooking utensils. Happy that we have stayed at Villa Aloe Aruba and definitely will recommend to anyone who wish to rent a home instead of staying at hotels.”

“Julia and her "team" did a fantastic job and I say team because we interacted with several different people which was great. Starting a month in advance of our booking we received a detailed explanation of what to expect from the time we landed at the airport to a GPS with directions for the house, shopping, restaurants and shopping. We were able to easily communicate to get information not only on our stay at their home but also about Aruba. Once we arrived at the home we were met and walked through the home and we were shown how everything worked and a full house manual was provided with answers to how everything worked as well as things to do on the island. Having the "team" close by was great, at one point we ran out of gas fro the grill and someone was right over with a replacement. This was our first trip to the island and our first experience with Airbnb and we are sold on both. We decide to rent a house because we are a family of 5 adults and it turned out to be a good choice. The house and yard is private and the kitchen is fully equipped so we prepared many of our meals at home which is what we enjoy. We hope to go back to Aruba again next year and would only consider staying with the de Ruijter's either here or one of their other properties.”

“Perfect set up for our family vacation - We stayed in this wonderful villa with our 2 teenage children, parents and mother in law. Everyone had there own space and it worked beautifully. We loved watching movies in the pool at night. We didn't think we would use the hot tub but it turned out to be a great spot! Unfortunately, the mosquitos did force us inside a few times. Danny sprayed the area a few times during our stay but they were quite a nuisance towards the end. I had back issues and found the bed very uncomfortable the first night but when I contacted Julia the next day they brought over a wonderful bed topper (and a few other options!) by the end of the day. It was perfect and very much appreciated! The van rental was invaluable and a provided a perfect way for the 7 of us to explore this beautiful and friendly island. The people we met along the way were amazing! Everything was handled with that wonderful island laid back island attitude. A word to the wise, make sure that you heed the warning to bring the Garmin and cell phone into the house with you when you leave the vehicle in the driveway :( Overall, our expectations were surpassed with the service we received and the house suited our needs very well. I would reccomend this property and any that Julia owns to everyone. They are a true pleasure to deal with!”

“Aruba stay - The house was wonderful, it has such great character and we loved the pool. Danny was great to have around and was attentive to many of are small needs. Would recommend fixing the ice maker as it cant keep with the needs of 6-10 people. The mosquitoes were horrible inside and out so bug spray is a must. wish I could move this house closer to the beach. Thank you ”

“Don't miss this fabulous home in Aruba. - We traveled to Aruba with our 6 children for the first time last week. We feel that we could not have picked a better place. Villa Aloe wowed all of us form the moment we arrived. It is an exceptional value and the attention to details makes it a clear stand out. It is decorated beautifully and very well equipped with anything that you could need. There were plenty of bath towels, beach towels, snorkel gear, pool toys, kitchen utensils, cook wear, etc. for all of us. It was the cleanest and most well put together home that we have rented. We rented a very clean van from the owners which was ready at the airport with a Garmin and detailed instructions. It was very easy to get to the house and around the island. It is short 10 minutes to beaches, shopping and a wonderful new grocery (Superfoods). The owners, Stuart and Julia were professional, available and very helpful with any questions/concerns. We felt safe and especially enjoyed the open air walls of windows and eating on the outside patios. The outside area is a tropical paradise. They honestly have covered every base at this home. We give Villa Aloe a 10 and hope to return.”
