You punch the clock each and every day and now it’s time for a break. Labor Day weekend celebrates the American worker, but also signifies the unofficial end of summer. It’s also a great time to visit Orlando, with plenty to see and do all weekend long.

The International Food and Wine Festival continues during this long weekend. The Plain White Ts perform at the Eat to the Beat Performances on Thursday through Saturday. On Sunday and Monday, Sawyer Brown takes over as the featured musical act. Meg Donnelly leads the Disney du Jour Dancy Party on Friday and Saturday, while Jamie Deen is the featured chef for Sunday Brunch with the Chef.

Friday and Saturday hours are 9 am to 10 pm, while the park is open Sunday and Monday from 9 am to 9 pm.

Hollywood Studios

Star Wars fans will flip over the newly opened Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where they can fully immerse themselves in their favorite fantasy world. Stay after dark to enjoy the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular light, laser and music show.

Hollywood Studios is open 6 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday and from 9 am to 10 pm on Sunday and Monday.

There’s plenty of time for fun at Animal Kingdom, open from 8 am to 9:30 pm on Friday and Saturday and 8 am to 9 pm on Sunday and Monday.

Around Orlando

Disney isn’t the only spot for Labor Day fun in Orlando. Look toward the sky on Sunday for a fireworks show at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes. Leu Gardens, a 50-acre botanical oasis just minutes from downtown Orlando, will offer free admission on Monday. If you’re looking to get a little exercise and love a little sparkle, check out the Embrace Your Inner Unicorn 5K and 10K.

You can also enjoy all the year-round Orlando activities and attractions, including Universal Studios, SeaWorld, world-class dining and first-rate shopping. No matter what you choose to do, when you stay at a Casiola property, you’ll be just minutes from the fun. All Casiola’s properties enjoy a prime location close to Orlando attractions and offer tons of great amenities to make you feel right at home after a day of fun.
