Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! On your mark, get set, and GO straight to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at Disney Hollywood Studios. Opened in March 2019, the high-octane, one-of-a-kind show puts you right in the middle of all the Cars action.
Rookie racers will learn the racing ropes from the legendary Lightning McQueen at Sunset Showcase. The all-star racer starts with a live demonstration of his racing skills using a brand-new, state-of-the-art racing simulator. It’s complete with a wraparound screen, so each and every visitor is part of the action. During his lessons, Lightning McQueen shares some tips from when things don’t go to plan, helping you get back on course.
As Lightning explains the new simulation training, a familiar old foe hacks into the system and challenges him to a virtual race. Will he emerge victorious? Speed on over to find out.
All of Lightning’s friends come along for the ride, including Tow Mater, Cruz Ramirez and all the gang from Radiator Springs.
