“The Vista Cay complex is a great location with easy access to Hwy 528. There is a Publix in walking distance for grocery. Especially ideal for the new Epic Universe!! I only used 1 of the 3 bedrooms, but I could imagine this place would be ideal for a family of 5-6. Full kitchen and large bathrooms. The pool was closed during my stay which was a slight bummer, and during the day there was construction noise as I believe there was a unit below us being remodeled. So, it didn't turn out to be a 'work' location I had hoped, but for most people visiting Orlando, they are likely out during the day. I'd highly recommend.”

“Our stay at Dennis's place was awesome. We had originally booked hotel rooms, but this was so much better. The place looked exactly like the photos. We enjoyed the close proximity to publix, the great pool area, and walking path. Dennis was always responsive and provided clear instructions. I had a minor issue that was resolved quickly. The place was great, comfortable beds, couches and lots of space. Having the kitchen was the best part, as we were there for a tournament and needed to feed our athlete. There were plenty of pots and pans, cups and tupperware. We could have used some sharper knives, but all in all, the kitchen was well stocked. There are plenty of pool towels and the supplies provided easily got us through 6 days. I highly recommend Dennis's property at the Vista Cay. Hey Dennis, we'll be back next year. Thank you!”

“Great condo set up with split bedrooms. Condo is an end unit and was generally very quiet. We heard the upstairs residents a couple of times but nothing disruptive. The only critique is that the dishwasher is extremely loud and the floors could use deep cleaning (our socks got dirty walking around the unit) but otherwise the unit was neat and tidy. Linens and towels all appeared to be new.”

“The only reason our check in wasn’t perfect is because we were told we could park our Airstream travel trailer in the parking lot but we couldn’t. We couldn’t get it out. So we had to scramble and pay $525 for the week to park it 45 min away. We wanted to drop our things off before making the 1.5hr round trip but couldn’t. So we were frustrated by both not being able to park, and not being able to drop our things off because we had to make 2 trips. Once we got in, the floors and counters were filthy. “Meh. - While our stay was very nice, clean, and enjoyable, we had a mishap after leaving. We called less than 2 days after leaving our vacation home to let the staff know we had left a very expensive piece of equipment (a very large professional blow dryer for dogs) in the guest bathroom under the sink. After 10 days of calling and speaking back and forth, the management refused to retrieve our blow dryer from the property for days until either 1) another guest stole it or 2) staff took it for themselves. It was absolutely ridiculous that it took over 1 week for these people to get someone to go check out on the blow dryer, and it wasn't for nearly 10 days until they told us it "couldn't be retrieved". If they had checked the day we called, it would have been there. I sincerely don't even believe they actually checked because the place was occupied and they didn't want to bother the people staying there. So after leaving we had to buy a new dryer for a few hundred dollars after spending nearly a thousand dollars staying here. The service we received after we left was just so rude and unsympathetic.”

“We loved to stay here!!! Everything is exactly like on the picture and has a great energy!!! We definitely would always come back here when we are in Orlando! Close to Universal and Publix and Walgreens right couple min walking away! Everything was sparkling clean and well decorated and the communication was really great and professional! We loved the pool and the basketball court area and the Gym and the space! A great apartment for ur vacation! And it has a playground and it has everything you need to cook Incase you would like to! Just in all a very great place to stay at! You won’t have any surprises! Oh it had a stroller and a kids seat for the table in the closet. U definitely don’t find that everywhere!!! Thanks again!”

“We can't say enough about how great our experience was here! We were evacuating from Hurricane Dorian and Dennis was very helpful and flexible with our uncertain timing of the booking. When we finally decided we needed to evacuate, we arrived to find exactly what we saw in the pictures but were pleasantly surprised with how spacious the unit was. Our family of 6 fit very comfortably and felt right at home during a very stressful time for all of us. The package of Oreos helped! The location was ideal and allowed us to easily get out and enjoy our unexpected vacation. It was close to Universal so we were easily able to utilize our annual passes while in town. The rec room kept the kids entertained as well! We will definitely be staying here from now on.”

“This place is modern, clean, quiet, LARGE! LOVED IT. Business trip, 4 biz associates stayed. Felt so comfortable here! It's as attractive as the pictures. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Incredible directions for EVERYTHING on the check-in tablet in the kitchen, including how to work the TVs, thermostat, etc. Many times we walked 3 minutes to the Walgreens for supplies/food/wine, and 3 times over to the strip mall across the street to the Publix huge grocery store, Betty's Burgers, and the breakfast restaurant, all really good and reasonable. Nice smooth 1 mile loop trail around the lake for a walk or run. This place was fantastic for business stays like ours, but also GREAT for families, wow! The pool, workout room, etc was great, and they have kid amenities in the unit closet if needed (playpen, high chair, etc). And plenty of hangers, thank you!”

“The rental was as expected with the exception of a few complaints and or Recommendations. Pet friendly rentals need to be deep cleaned after each renter. There was still pet and human hair on the floor when I arrived. Manager notified. There was no cable in the master bedroom for the first 2 days of my stay. Manger notified and problem corrected. The Kitchen and Master Bath both need new lighting very dim. Also the vanity in the Master bath could use some updating. I’m 5’2 and the height of the vanity was low even for me. I’m writing this review because this was my first pet friendly rental. I have stayed in several of the vista cay rentals and 90% of them have been top notch!”

“This place was amazing!! Super easy check in, loved the pool area with a bar, they had a movie night at the pool and another night had a live DJ at the pool for a few hours. What a fun time we had. Huge jacuzzi, great walking area around a lake. The condo was so clean and beautiful and looks exactly as is in pictures. My only concern was I didn’t see any instructions for checking out and I didn’t want to leave without doing something, but turns out, there are no check out instructions except to take out the trash which is conveniently located right outside the condo door. Would DEFINITELY stay here again! Super close to international drive and Universal. Thank you for a wonderful time!!”

He responded very quickly any time I messaged prior to the trip, and the process of emailing details about check in, status while we were there, check out, etc, were all timely and made the process incredibly easy. The condo is very clean, well appointed with everything our family of 4 needed for a 5 night stay, and the proximity to Universal and other attractions in the area was perfect. Its about a 10 minute drive to Universal, close enough that we visited the park in the morning, came back to walk the dogs and take a break for a few hours after lunch, then head back into the park for the evening. It’s on the third of four floors, close to the stairs and the elevators, and we only heard people walking with heavy feet above us one night. We were there over Thanksgiving and Vista Cay in general was very quiet. The parking lot is gated and requires a code to get in, which we also really liked. We’ll be back!”

The condo was clean and was enough room to breathe with two teenage boys. The amenities at the condo were awesome pool, gym, clubhouse and even a pool bar. Will definitely stay here again had a small maintenance issue and they came right out when called and we didn’t have to wait around for them. The only downside, if you are planning on cooking in the condo all week they have limited cooking utensils and pots and pans but we made it work. I cooked dinner for 9 (my family we were visiting) and made it work. ”

“Ana's Joy Disney Visit - Ana's Joy was in a very convenient location with plenty of space for 6 of us. However, the condo kitchen accessories left much to be desired. The kitchen cutting knives were extremely cheap and would hardly cut an apple. The showers had no lights and the master shower was missing the towel rod. The pool is nice, but there was a huge, rowdy party on Sunday with offensive music. Not good for children. We would probably not select this condo for another trip.”

We wished it had been a little better stocked but we made due. The only other issue was that there wasn't enough toilet paper provided. “This condo is excellent. It is very clean, great living space with comfy couches and dining table. The bedrooms are all a great size and lots of closet space to put away strollers and luggage. The beds were all comfy except back bedroom had more firm mattress' but some people prefer that. The kitchen is well equipped to make meals and dish washer worked great. Great view from the balcony with cute table and chairs for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The Vista Cay resort is very nice. Friendly staff and extremely clean public washroom, pool area etc. The kids pool was a great option but it isn't heated so we did find it a bit cold. There is also a games room which is additional fees to play and we loved it but found our older son wanted to go everyday. So we would give him $5 and once gone he was done or the day. The pool bar is very expensive so we didn't have much drinks pool side. Plus only food available was hotdogs or pizza. There is a walgreens in walking distance and this was amazing. We could shop there for the bulk of what we needed and found prices great. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed our stay and Dennis was a perfect host.”

“From the first conversation I had with Dennis inquiring about the property, everything was handled professionally with top notch service. I received an email from the resort with all relevant information one week prior and Dennis contacted me a few days before just to check in. Upon arriving we had a minor issue with the freezer and even though it was Christmas Day, someone came out right away to try and fix it. The property is very nice and close to many amenities. “1st time Air BnBers here! We were displaced by Hurricane Matthew and we were lucky enough to find Dennis's condo. This ended up being one of our best trips to Orlando. Ana's Joy is a wonderfully decorated and comfortable condo. We enjoyed the pool, the people in the community and convenience to the local attractions. Dennis was quick to respond when we rented and everything rocked! would love to come back under "normal" circumstances!”

“We evacuated from Hurricane Matthew at the last minute and I was able to book with zero problem. We loved the condo and it was everything as advertised. “vista cay and universal studios - We have stayed in the unit four times now. The unit was clean but the furniture and kitchen equipment is the same as it was 8 years ago. It's getting old. The property management group has changed the pool set up and there is now a very expensive bar on the pool deck. Guests now have to buy their beer or wine from the bar if they would like to enjoy drinks by the pool. Security chases anyone not buying from the bar. This practice did not work for us. The reason we rent a condo is to enjoy the pool and unit without spending on as many restaurant and bar bills. $12 mixed drinks in little plastic disposable cups was ridiculous. Cleaning staff were coming into the unit at 10:30 on the day of check out. ”

“M-F stay for Conference - PROS: The size and location was nice, linens and kitchen were clean CONS: The route to the conference was quite busy on foot and transportation was required. Hair was on the bathroom floor and shower. The camode ran off an on all night long. In my opinion, the decor was bit outdated and dark - not like what we saw in the online image. ”

“Ana's Joy was a Gem! - The rental was exactly as described. It was very clean, well stocked with all the things you might need, fantastic location within Orlando, and generally just a pleasure to stay at. We love the quick walk to Publix and Dunkin Donuts in the morning, and the 5 minute ride to universal and SeaWorld. It was very quiet at night, I felt like I was at home in the suburbs. The only common I have is that the air conditioner can only go down to 73 degrees. Some days that felt a little too warm, especially having come from -10 degrees in Massachusetts. That should be fixed.”

“Ana's Joy was a joy - Great location, clean, easy to access. The location of the unit was very close to the pool, which was great. Noisy upstairs neighbors, however. The unit needs better towels and room darkening blinds but otherwise we really enjoyed it.”

“The 3 bedroom condo in Vista Cay was more than I expected. It was very clean, comfortable beds, more than adequate kitchen set-up. It was easy to get to and very close to all the Orlando attractions. It was more than enough room for five adults. Compared to all of us renting hotel rooms, this made much more sense and gave us the use of a kitchen as well. We will happily stay here again! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool etc.”

“The apartment was perfect for us. We were there two weeks, by the time we packed up to leave it felt as if we were leaving home! It is not easy to travel with pets so to find accommodations that not only allowed them but was beautiful was so refreshing. We are already talking about going back. We were near the clubhouse and pool which were wonderful. The walk around the lake was perfect to walk and morning runs. The location was perfect also, as there are tons of restaurants on International Drive, Publics, Walgreens, Dunkin Donuts and NYPD Pizza within walking distance. Thank you Dennis!”

“Great location - Four of us rented Ana's Joy in June and we were pleased with the accommodations and location. Four beds meant we each had our own and it was lovely. The place was certainly clean, but it could do with some cosmetic work. Having said that, these things are minor and it didn't impact our enjoyment. Spent some time at the pool, too, which was pleasant. We would definitely recommend it.”

“It was a really great vacation home!!! - the location is perfect, the home was awesome and so huge as we really could not choose which room to use for sleep. We used laundry a couple of times which is really useful. Kitchen is fully equipped, it was pleasure to cook breakfasts and dinners, the rest of the day we spent in one of the attractions parks which are rather close to property - universal just 10 mins away. I would definitely recommend this place to my friend and any new visit to Orlando - only casiola homes and no more regular hotels!)”
