“The home was beautiful just as pictured. Truly lovely. The kitchen had a brand new starter kit with everything you need for a few days—detergent, new dish sponge, wipes , laundry and dishwasher pods etc. Dennis contacted us before we contacted him, which was nice to see a host be proactive. Finding the place was simple, the pool and hot tub (although over crowded-to no fault of the host) was nice, renovated, and clean. There’s a plaza in walking distance with a supermarket and restaurants. The bathrooms are huge and also had toiletries. There were enough towels for all my guests. The balcony was clean and there was ample seating for my entire family. The towels could stand to be upgraded, but they were usable. Be sure to check the dishes, you can tell they were cleaned by the dishwasher, but nothing’s better than a good ‘ol hand wash. Otherwise, I have no complaints. I’d stay again!”

“Ultra clean condo. Short walk from restaurants and supermarket. A 10 minute walk from the Rosen Shingle Creek across the road. I was not too happy that the property managers entered the condo while I was out and without alerting me ahead of time for placing the outdoor table and chairs out on the balcony after the storm, as I had my personal belongings spread out on the living room table. Minor concerns sent to the host on the second day were ignored, such as the water line in the refrigerator was not working and the lights in the master bedroom closet was not working. A small folding table for resting luggage on would be very helpful, so as not to lay it on the bed or the couches. I had to improvise by using 2 dining room chairs, but was still not practical. Overall, it was still a comfortable experience.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Spacious Vista Cay condo. The interior was quite spacious and everything was spotlessly clean. The apartment is on the fourth floor, but there is a convenient elevator to get there. The kitchen was nicely laid out and we enjoyed the comfy couch set. It was a quick rideshare to the convention center, but would have been a bit of a walk. One note: Bedroom 3 is listed as having a queen bed, but has been updated/changed and now has two full beds. The beds were comfortable, but as a taller guy I had to lie diagonally on the full bed, while I can lie straight on a queen or king. Just something to be aware of, but it did not diminish how much we enjoyed staying at this prime apartment, with an excellent location and at a great value!”

My only small issues was the fridge water dispenser didn't work (the ice did) and the king bed mattress felt like two gorillas rented out before me. “Disappointed - Wasn't very pleased. Was promised early check in and then was denied. When we finally was able to check in wrong security code to our door was given and had to contact the office several times to get in and that delayed our entry. While we were stating they were painting our building and they painted our condo door without making us aware and we got paint on our hands and belongings at one point. The painters also would leave their materials in the hallway and stairway limiting access throughout the building. Painters also took up three parking spots the whole week in front of our building making parking difficult and making us walk several units away from our building. This was unacceptable in my opinion and should not have had renters in the building while construction was taking place.”

Security? - We stayed 6 nights the neighbors were loud rude snorting cocaine on sidewalk at 5am asking for my parking spot while im trying to load my car to go home , i moved it to avoid conflict. (Farther walk with luggage without a cart (not supplied by Vista Cay) No parking pass so you can park as many cars as you would like. These units are also sold so you have another person who sat in his car waiting for (his spot) Mean mugging people. Where is Maintainence? Fridge needed attention or replaced,dryer shot lent all over top of washer and dryer( easy fix if they cared),missing and broken items on/off the wall,the 10' high ceiling make hard to reach and clean up high.”

“Vista Cay is a convenient location if you’re attending the Orange County Convention Center and this unit is a handy short walk from a Publix supermarket. I wouldn’t describe the property as “luxurious” but it is a clean and functional vacation rental. There were, however, some signs of wear and tear such as cracked tiles in one of the showers and the top of one tap was missing. Dennis promptly responded to issues with the dishwasher and within an hour a Casiola maintenance person cheerfully came by to re-set it. They are constructing new apartment buildings nearby. I was woken up before 7am a couple of mornings by the construction work, but if you are out during the day then it’s not a problem. I would stay at Vista Cay again if coming to Orlando.”

“Our experience at this rental was a bit disappointing. We had numerous concerns that emerged pretty early in our 5-day visit, and Casiola's efficient response to these issues was basically to tell us there was absolutely nothing they could do about it. I think, at a minimum, these changes to their normal course of renting should have been noted on the listing. The rental information suggests this is a gated community, and that is both true and misleading. The car access is gated with a lock, but the pedestrian gates (multiple) are never locked. So, the strip mall location is very permeable to people who roam the parking lot at night and don't seem to be renting there. The gate codes apparently change without Casiola keeping consistent communication about that. So, the code we received in our emails (multiple prior to our visit) was wrong. The code we received when calling Casiola's emergency line was correct and suggested they knew the code had changed. However, the contact person for this rental still maintained that the old code was correct after we had not been able to use it. I would strongly suggest people check in early and make sure they can get in the gate, rather than trusting this will be a smooth process. There is a tremendous local construction project that begins work around 6:15 each morning and continued into the evenings and weekends. We woke up with the first arriving workers, who would start unloading trucks. Also, the building itself is very echoey and full of drunk college-age vacationers who come in late and yell and bang on doors. So, the noise (even for city dwellers like myself and my guest) was pretty extreme. Parking is also severely limited in the dimly lit lot area, due to the construction. We parked about a 5-minute walk from the building, which was fine, but certainly impacts accessibility for visitors. It was not a big deal for us. The rental itself is kind of like staying at a friends' parents' beach house that they've staged for selling. It is minimally, inexpensively decorated, with tags still on much of the furniture, which is sort of odd. There's a lot of really random art about believing in yourself. Floors are sticky and a bit dirty. Things like tissues are missing. The toilet paper they provide is cheap. It's fine. It's not fancy or comfortable, really, but it's fine. We were there 5 days, but mostly using it as a crash pad for a conference that ran long nights and early mornings, and for that, it was perfectly acceptable. It's just not impressive, even though the pictures are nice.”

“We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful apartment, very clean and spacious; the condo easily accomodated six adults. Full kitchen for cooking and plenty of dishes and silverware. Check in was very easy; just a simple code for the door so no hasssle with key cards. Very close to a grocery store and restaurants (walking distance!). Ten to fifteen minute drive from Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure/City Walk. Beautiful pool area as well. On top of all of that, Dennis was incredibly helpful and very responsive to messages. Perfect spot for an Orlando getaway.”

“We Had a Wonderful Stay - We had a wonderful seven-night stay over Christmas 2017. The condo was very nice and well-furnished. There was plenty of room, with three bedrooms and two baths, for my family of four. Our building was near the end of the complex but it was a short walk to the smaller pool which I believe is heated. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues that were taken care of very quickly and it did not cause any problems for us. We took advantage of the concierge service in the clubhouse. This is a nice perk. A Publix grocery store and a couple of restaurants are right next door. The complex is close to Sea World and the International Drive area. It also in a good location for getting around the Orlando area.”

“Good cost-benefit - Big, clean and with a good supermarket close by (200 yards). However, getting to the accommodation was NOT easy, especially at night. The street name emailed to us was INSIDE the resort. There was a resort map in the apartment, with building numbers, helpful when you are already there. One king bed needed replacement as it was becoming a scoop. In addition, if you buy something, USPS DOES NOT deliver to the resort. Really odd. Only FEDEX and UPS. ”

“Great location and condo - The property was fantastic! The location was great. We were in town for a swim meet and it was close to the YMCA pool in Orlando and all the restaurants on international drive.. It was also a short drive to Universal and downtown Disney. The property seemed like it was in good condition. The furniture did not seem worn out or dated. Plenty of room for our family to spread out. It was nice that there were two pools that we could use. The only downside was that you need to drive to the clubhouse and the larger pool. The smaller pool that we could walk to was clean and well-kept with nice bathrooms. It even had a hot 's also nice and convenient having the Publix grocery store so close.”
