What’s coming to Orlando in 2023
The new year is just around the corner, and that means there are lots of exciting things to look forward to in Orlando! In 2023, Orlando will be welcoming some exciting new attractions. If you’re looking for something to do on your next vacation. Here are some announcements for what will be coming to popular theme parks like Walt Disney World® and Universal Studios™ Florida.
Walt Disney World®
The TRON Lightcycle Run attraction will open in Spring 2023. The attraction is inspired by the film TRON – Legacy. It takes place within TRON City, a high-tech metropolis where programs are free to soar and explore their digital frontier on ultra-fast light cycles. Riders will get to experience this futuristic world virtually while they ride on one of these thrilling vehicles that travel along a neon track at up to 65 miles per hour.
The Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana will open Summer 2023. Explore the wonders of water along an interactive trail that’s fun for all ages. Based on the Disney animated film Moana, this strolling adventure will take you from the sky to the oceans via a series of colorful scenes that depict water in its many forms. This innovative attraction is scheduled to open within World Natura, the EPCOT® neighborhood dedicated to understanding and preserving the beauty and balance of the natural world.
Universal Orlando™ Resort
In the Summer of 2025, Universal’s EPIC™ Universe will open at Universal Studios™ Florida. You’ll be able to experience two areas. One is based on Marvel Comics characters including Black Panther, and another is based on DC Comics Justice League – where guests can meet Superman or Wonder Woman among others!
SeaWorld® Orlando
The Pipeline: In spring 2023, SeaWorld® Orlando will open its newest attraction, Pipeline: The Surf Coaster. This first-of-its-kind surf coaster will combine the excitement of surfing with a gravity-defying coaster experience as you ride alongside some of SeaWorld’s most popular animals. With Pipeline: The Surf Coaster, you can feel the awesome power of the ocean as you ride through three stories of corkscrews and loops at speeds up to 55 mph!
Legoland® Florida Resort
And if you’re looking for family-friendly fun at Legoland Florida Resort? Pirate Quest opens on Jan. 21, 2023. The Pirate River Quest will be a new attraction at Legoland® Florida Resort that takes you on an exciting adventure through the swamps, jungles, and rivers as you journey to find your treasure! It will be located next to Dragon Coaster and Lego Ninjago World.
