Our favorite is Super Food Plaza. This Dutch-owned store is popular with North and South Americans as well as Europeans. It is a shopping plaza that provides its consumers with an enjoyable shopping environment and a diverse selection of goods. Their cheese selection rivals that of any other shop on the island, and their bakery produces artisan bread as well as exquisite European-style pastries and sweets.
You can shop for groceries, quality wines & liquors, beauty & health products, interior decorations, furniture, and toys for kids and have a great lunch or coffee break at Jack’s Café Aruba. A bank, real estate broker, optician, pharmacy, mobile phone store, beauty salon, and other businesses are conveniently situated under the same roof. Super Food Plaza is in Bubali, on the roadway that connects Oranjestad to the Palm Beach hotel district.

Ling & Sons Food Market
Ling & Sons have excellent goods from across the world to cook a nice dinner in your vacation home kitchen. This giant store has the largest number and diversity of American products on the island, including fresh and organic fruit, freshly baked bread and pastries, quality meat, and gourmet and multicultural products. They also provide USDA meats and premium Certified Angus Beef. Fine wine and liquors, delectable chocolates, and their fresh juice and coffee corner are also among their specialties. Ling & Sons Food Market is the closest thing you’ll get to an American-style grocery shop. It’s well-organized and contemporary.

PriceSmart
PriceSmart is a warehouse-style shopping “club,” similar to Sam’s and Costco, which sells largely American goods in bulk. It’s ideal for stocking up on office supplies, frozen prepared foods, canned and bottled beverages, and toiletries. The vegetables here are generally ripe and in great condition. PriceSmart also has a selection of electronics, appliances, home goods, and cookware.

Next to that Casiola partnered with GroceriesToGo Aruba it’s an easy service that delivers fresh foods, household essentials, and even alcohol (available in select areas), from local stores. Know before you go
- Aruba prohibits the use of single-use plastic bags, so bring your own bag!
- Aruba lacks the “open 24 hours/7 days a week” culture that exists in the United States. Most supermarkets close at 8 p.m., have restricted Sunday hours, and are closed on all official holidays on the island.
- Because the great majority of things are delivered to the island and also most container ships arrive on Tuesdays, Thursday is the best day to shop and Tuesday is the worst. It will be Wednesday by the time the goods are unloaded, processed by customs, and delivered to retailers. Filling begins on this day, and the store is usually completely supplied with fresh goods by late Wednesday/early Thursday.
