Mangel Halto is a small, private beach nearby the Spanish Lagoon, in Pos Chiquito (South of the airport towards Savaneta). There are various cabanas on the beach where you can get some shade from the rays of the sun. Mangel Halto is a magical, quiet and intimate place, this unique beach is full of little hideaways to discover. The waters here are calm and shallow, making it an ideal place for snorkeling and diving. You can climb out the mangroves or scramble down a hidden staircase and swim to the breaker, where there are beautiful coral structures teeming with fish. The marine life here is incredible. If you like calm, shallow waters or just sunbathing, Mangel Halto is the beach for you and your lover.

A tip for beach lovers: The beach and water are rocky, so bring beach shoes to protect your feet.

This beach may be smaller than the others, but it has everything you need for a romantic day in paradise. Boca Catalina is the best beach to swim in the Caribbean and is situated in the middle of Malmok and Arashi Beach and is very low-key, serene, and lovely (you can see passing catamarans, small boats, and curious pelicans). The area is also suitable for snorkeling, as you can see various sea creatures close to the shoreline. Wouldn’t it be ideal to end this romantic beach day with a dreamy sunset sailing experience?

A tip for beach lovers: Arrive early and find a spot under a Palapa or a shady tree. There are very few cafés nearby where you can buy snacks and drinks, so don’t forget to pack your cooler.

Tres Trapi is not a beach, but a cove in a cliff made of eroded rocks and coral, but if you go down the steps to the white sandy beach you will see a breathtaking landscape with crystal clear waters full of life what makes Tres Trapi a unique and attractive snorkeling spot. It is a rather isolated island what makes it perfect for a romantic beach day. Tres Trapi is located in the northwest of the island, situated between Malmok and Boca Catalina.

A tip for beach lovers: If you go to the beach in the early morning, when it’s quiet and peaceful, you can swim with the sea turtles that often float by. However, remember to keep a safe distance from the sea creatures to ensure their safety and protection.

This unique place is a bit off the beaten track and off the map (you have to be brave to go there), but it’s well worth it. If you can get there, it’s very refreshing … just you, the ocean and your ‘Dushi’ – what more could you ask for?

A tip for beach lovers: Plan a Jeep Tour to the National Park to explore the island of Aruba and enjoy the beautiful views.
