Santa’s Enchanted Forest – November 9, 2022, to January 8, 2023
This is the perfect place for your family to experience the magic of Christmas with all its dazzling lights and displays. It is fun for all ages and features over 60 rides, shows, and attractions that will captivate you and your family! Marvel at spectacular lights, enjoy great food, and relax in the beautiful gardens while watching an outdoor show.
Along with all this excitement, you can also bring the little ones to meet Santa himself at this largest holiday theme park. With 40 acres of attractions plus 3 entrances and expansive parking, it’s sure to be a festive event that everyone will enjoy! Opening from 9 am through 11 pm daily (except Thanksgiving) so come early or stay late … preferably both! Santa’s Enchanted Forest is located at 7500 NW 87th Avenue.
Zoo Lights at Zoo Miami – Select nights November 25 – December 30, 2022
Zoo Lights at Zoo Miami is a must-see Miami Christmas Event! One of the most popular holiday events in South Florida, this spectacular celebration features more than 1 million sparkling lights that transform Zoo Miami into a fabulous array of shimmering trees and dazzling animal-shaped lights.
The festivities are open on select nights from November 25 – December 30 from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. In addition to seeing thousands of dazzling lights and exhibits come alive with the festive spirit, guests can enjoy appearances by Santa (December 1-23), animal presentations, arts & crafts and letters to Santa, hot cocoa and cookies, Snowman’s River Boat Rides on Biscayne Bay plus much more!
Winterland at the Farm – Thursday through Sunday, Late November to Early January
Winterland at the Farm is a spectacular Miami Christmas Event. The farm will be transformed into a magical place where visitors can enjoy Christmas festivities and experience all the magic of the season.
The winter wonderland features over 1 million lights, live entertainment, pony rides and more! You will also get to meet Santa Claus who is joined by Nix the Snowman and Sprinkle the Gingerbread Cookie at a beautiful illuminated Forest. There are many activities for kids including hay rides, paddleboat rides, petting zoo and much more!
Winterfest Boat Parade – December 10, 2022
A wintertime tradition since 1964, the Winterfest Boat Parade is one of the most beloved events in South Florida. A festive way to usher in the holidays, this annual celebration brings together boats of all shapes and sizes decked up with thousands of lights and a merry spirit. Join South Floridians as they gather along the Intracoastal Waterway from Ft. Lauderdale to Pompano Beach on December 10th at 6:30 pm for a glimpse of sailboats, yachts, barges, or any other thing that floats, as they make their way through Biscayne Bay towards downtown Miami. If you’re looking for something fun to do this holiday season then look no further! As part of its 50th anniversary celebration there will be special features including fireworks throughout the parade route (weather permitting).
NightGarden Magical Light Spectacular at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens – Select dates Thursdays through Sundays, November 11, 2022, to January 8, 2023
The NightGarden Magical Light Spectacular at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens is an enchanted, illuminated experience full of fantasy and wonderment where things like the Wise Talking Tree, Flying Fairies, and a Sunflower Maze come to life. It’s a great opportunity to see this beautiful garden after dark.
The NightGarden Magical Light Spectacular takes place on select dates for November 11, 2022 to January 8, 2023 at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens at 10901 Old Cutler Road, Coral Gables, FL 33156.
Symphony In Lights Holiday Celebration at Gulfstream Park – November 12, 2022, to December 31, 2022
If you’re looking for a few festive things to do in Miami before Christmas, Symphony in Lights Holiday Celebration at Gulfstream Park is the place to be! The park will be illuminated with more than 250,000 LED lights and a 10-minute light show will begin at the top of every hour from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Enjoy shopping, dining, and boundless entertainment at Gulfstream Park Village’s open-air setting. The Historic Holiday Evening Strolls have returned! On Friday, December 2nd and Wednesday, December 14th, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, enjoy a family-friendly holiday evening. View the Historic Holiday Décor: A Jazzy Holiday while strolling the main grounds and inside the historic museums. Guests can also enjoy the warmth of a campfire and holiday movie screenings! Children can deliver their letters to Santa. Finish the night by having Mrs. Claus read bedtime stories to the kids.
Nights of Lights at Pinecrest Gardens – December 11, 2022, to January 1, 2023
The Nights of Lights in Pinecrest Gardens is the 13th annual holiday event that features stunning displays of twinkling lights, festive music, as well as an all-new maze, and magical Story Time with Mrs. Claus. The garden will also host special appearances by Santa Claus on select evenings leading up to Christmas Eve! The Nights of Lights is free and open to the public from December 11th to January 1st at Pinecrest Gardens at 11000 Red Road, Pinecrest 33156.
New Year’s Eve 2023: Big Orange Ball Drop and Fireworks – December 31, 2022
What better way to ring in the New Year than with a family-friendly celebration at Bayfront Park? Families can enjoy fun activities before enjoying a spectacular fireworks show launched from a barge in Biscayne Bay. The event is free and open to the public! If you’re looking for an awesome place to watch this year’s “Ball Drop,” head over to Bayfront Park where they’ll be launching fireworks from their own barge into the water just offshore, you’ll have no problem seeing them from all over Miami!
